Enter a Not Guilty Plea by Mail
Fill out the bottom portion of your citation, and mail it:

Come to the Municipal Court office at:

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Enter a Guilty Plea
You may remit the fine online, by mail, or in person. You can pay your fine online. You can mail your payment to the Municipal Court using a check, cashier's check, or money-order. Do not mail cash. Make payment payable to: City of University Park.
You have 14 days from the date of the violation to enter a not guilty plea, or pay the fine. Failure to resolve the violation within the allotted time will automatically increase the fine amount.

The fine amount includes $5 in state-mandated court cost for a school crossing guard program (article 102.014. Code of Criminal Procedure).
Please Note:
- If you have outstanding parking violations, your vehicle may be impounded until the amount is paid.
- Violations issued for Handicapped Parking can be resolved in person at the Court Clerk's counter by providing proof of your placard and driver license.
- Violations for required Residential Parking Permits can be resolved at the Court Clerk's counter by applying for a permit with the Police Department and providing the Municipal Court with proof of that. This does not apply to defendants with existing permits.
