Chat and Play Parent/Child Workshops (Ages 1 - 3)

Family Place Libraries™ is a nationwide network of programming and resources targeting families with young children, particularly those under 3 years. Based on research about the connections in the brain that need to be made at this very early age, we emphasize the importance of learning through purposeful play. The Family Place initiative builds on the knowledge that good health, early learning, parental involvement and supportive communities play a critical role in young children’s growth and development.

Chat and Play Parent/Child Workshops

A five-session program series features informal playtime, developmentally appropriate activities, and the opportunity for caregivers to talk with a variety of community resource professionals. Offered in the Spring and Fall.
Check the Library Calendar of Events for the full schedule.
