HP LitFest Middle School Book Club: The Magician's Nephew (Grades 5&6)

Join UP Library to read The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis, a childhood favorite of HP LitFest Keynote Author, Blake Crouch! Open to fifth and sixth graders from any school. Registration is required. Each registered participant will receive a free copy of the book, available to pick up at the library starting January 13. Read one chapter each school day from January 20 through February 9, then join us to discuss the book on February 11 from 4 to 5 pm.

Baby Story Time (0 to 18 months)

Intended for non-walkers and crawlers ages 0 to 18 months. Stories, movement and music for babies and caregivers to enjoy together.

Toddler Story Time (Ages 18 months - 3 years)

For ages 18 months - 3 years old. Stories, songs and activities that emphasize early reading and language skills.

English Conversation (Adult)

Join us for a Free English Conversation class for adults. Practice your language skills with other learners, and improve your listening, and speaking.

Silent Book Club (Adult Program)

Do you wish you had more time to read? Get cozy at the library for an hour of silent reading with time at the end to chat about books! This is an adult book club with no assigned reading!

Baby Stay and Play (Ages 0 to 18 months)

Babies ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers are invited to make new friends and develop skills through free play with toys, games, and puzzles.

Tile Time for Kids: Learn to Play Mahjong (Ages 6+)

For ages 6 and up. Limited to 8 participants. We will learn the basics of mahjong using Mini Mahjong sets, specially designed for kids! Beginners and more experienced players are both welcome.

Make Your Own Lollipops with PapaBubbleDFW (Ages 8-12)

Open to ages 8 to 12. Make your own lollipops with portable candy company PapaBubbleDFW! Choose your flavors, add fun ingredients, and work alongside the candy makers to create something truly delicious!
